I would like to introduce some of Unity’s management team who help insure that our organization runs smoothly and that our goals are achieved.

Timothy Burrell, MD, MBA, is Vice President of Unity Physician Group. Dr. Burrell focuses on enhancing the clinical practice environment while taking administrative needs into account. To this end, he has sought to strategically employ information technology, process improvement and customer service principles. Additionally, Dr. Burrell coordinates the interaction between clinical sites, administrative departments and partner groups. He also oversees provider recruiting and scheduling for Unity.

Bruce Waldo, MD, is Vice President of Medical Information Services and Regulatory Compliance. In these roles, Dr. Waldo analyzes managed care contracts, utilization of services and reimbursement statistics to help Unity devise financial strategies.

John Johnson, MD, is the Regional Director for Unity in the northwest part of Indiana. Dr. Johnson has over 30 years of clinical, management, and EMS experience on both the state and national levels. He brings a wealth of knowledge to our Board of Directors as well as the emergency and urgent care practices.

Lynn Schenck is Vice President of Operations. Drawing on more than 30 years of management experience, Lynn guides our efforts to effectively deploy new processes and technologies to help us better serve our patients through improvements in the quality of care we provide and the level of customer service we deliver.

Larry Polley, Corporate Controller, has thirty plus years of financial management related experience. He is responsible for establishing and maintaining accounting and treasury policies and procedures for the corporation, as well as directing the preparation and presentation of its financial and tax reporting.

Diana Robinson, Vice President of Human Resources has been with Unity since 1987. Diana is responsible for all phases of personnel activity, including recruitment and retention of employees. Diana is especially skilled at helping us foster a positive work environment within Unity.

Mark Dame, MHA, CPHRM, FACHE, Vice President of Risk Management and Insurance Services, brings 20+ years of health care management and consulting experience. He provides enterprise risk management, risk financing, claims management, and strategic leadership at the corporate and client level.
